AMP is a mortgage banker specializing in FHA, VA, USDA RD and Reverse Mortgage loans. With offices throughout the state of California, AMP is an independently owned, HUD-approved lender — an important distinction in unsure economic times.
A mortgage professional since 1983, Rick Costa serves as president of American Mortgage Partners, directing the day-to-day operations of the company. His hands-on philosophy involves him in every aspect of the loan process, from pricing and underwriting to auditing and submissions. Rick’s experience include working for and running numerous mortgage companies throughout Northern California prior to founding AMP in 2007. He holds a real-estate broker license from the California Department of Real Estate and has extensive experience in all aspects of FHA/VA loan processing.
Patrick Pennington began his career in 1990 as a loan officer. Working in both wholesale and retail lending, he has helped manage his father’s mortgage operation and has owned his own company. Patrick’s live in Sebastopol,CA. and is the father of three children. As vice president of AMP, he heads the sales and marketing department, is in charge of loan operations, and is in charge of any new loan-agent hiring.
Kendall has been in the mortgage industry for 7 years, with a prior accounting background, so she is diverse in her role at American Mortgage Partners. Kendall has worked in all phases of closing from drawing loan documents to the sale of loans to the investor on a correspondent level. She is also responsible for the Accounting, Human Resources and managing the Warehouse Line. Kendall understands the “urgency” of the business and has worked closely with everyone from Loan Officers to Investors, knowing that service and communication are of the utmost importance at American Mortgage Partners. She also balances work with a family, which is very important to her and makes her able to relate to people on all different levels. Kendall knows the need to be a team player at American Mortgage Partners.
Has been in the business for over 15 years from the front end of docs & funding to post closing. As an organized & energetic person, she has the experience to get loans closed and purchased. I enjoy the fast pace of this business and enjoy giving great service to everyone that is part of the loan transaction. In her spare time you can catch Lorie riding her Harley.
A Residential Loan Processor for 9 years, I act as our Processing Manager. My philosophy of an extraordinary processor is one that is proactive, creative, organized, takes initiative and above all an excellent communicator. I am a processor that truly enjoys what I do; from working guidelines and structuring loans with our Loan Officers to analyzing, pre underwriting and packaging loans for Investor approval and smooth closing. I love the fast paced, ever changing environment that we call Mortgage Lending.
I’ve been in the mortgage business for 2 yrs and client services for ten, professional assistant who can wear multiple hats!
